Compliance Officers - Theory vs. Reality

Kleinhempel, Matthias
IAE-N207-03821-EN
Resumen
Companies are increasingly pressured to instate and maintain effective ethics and compliance programs. Losses incurred by companies besieged by scandals continue to grow. Whether companies face legal consequences or not, the media see to it that their reputations –along with those of their executives and employees- are strongly damaged. A tainted image bears a negative impact on customer, supplier and investor trust, and it may severely hamper a company’s ability to attract both financial and human resources to secure its growth and, even, its survival.
